Pembroke School is one of South Australia’s most prestigious and respected independent schools.
Originally founded as Girton Girls’ School in 1915, Pembroke is known for its lively culture and consistent ability to change and evolve, a characteristic the school still holds ever so dear.
In 2015, Pembroke purchased an exciting block of land directly opposite their Middle School grounds. With the assistance of architects Grieve Gillett Anderson, Pembroke crafted a space that is truly representative of the school’s unique approach to learning and culture.
As an example of Pembroke’s pioneering abilities, ‘enterprise spaces’ have been included in the new Middle School campus, allowing new and small businesses to call the campus home.
Following just under four years of development, teaching officially commenced in the new Middle School Art, Science and Technology building on the first day of Term 3: July 22nd, 2019.
In collaboration with the Landscape Architects WAX Design and the builders, Sarah Constructions, Best was delighted to lay our state of the art, shot blasted, Large Format Urban Black Series Straight Edge products to the brand new campus. These pavers feature a variety of bright and optimistic colours, perfectly linking to the potential of the Pembroke students, and their new Middle School campus.
